Metsä Cardholder – Forest Green

Metsä [met-sä] — Forest; a vast wooded landscape characteristic of the Nordic countries.

In Finland, the forest holds a central place in everyday life. Present throughout the landscape, it is at once a refuge, a resource and a place deeply connected to Nordic culture.

The Metsä cardholder draws inspiration from this world: a deep green reminiscent of coniferous forests, paired with leather selected to evolve, develop a patina and tell the story of its use.

Handcrafted in the Marc Glaudeix workshop in France, it combines Italian Badalassi Wax vegetable-tanned leather with a lining of Finnish deer leather. With time and handling, the exterior develops deeper shades and unique highlights.

The design is deliberately restrained, with three card slots and a wider central pocket for additional cards, folded notes or receipts. Every seam is sewn by hand using the traditional saddle stitch.
